This is a Japanese-made set with \"JAPAN\" stamped on the lead car, middle car, and rear car.

The motor did not run even when I inserted a size D battery.

I feel like it might work if I polished the metal contacts where the batteries touch with a file, but since it might simply be a motor defect, I will list it in the \"does not work\" condition without any modifications.

Also, the plastic gears on the wheels are cracked, so even if the motor runs, the tires will likely spin freely and not run smoothly.

There are also fine scratches and dirt, so please check the images carefully.

Since it is in a non-working condition, the product condition is listed as \"Overall poor condition.\"
